Volunteers always needed, need to be able to initiate work and work independently as we do not have the staff to supervise.
Come help us make a difference, help us to transform 5.5 acres of bramble
into a woodland area for the local community to use.
Monday to Friday 10 am—3pm.
No skills required except a good sense of humour and willingness to get stuck in, training given.
Our manager Mick has seen a Woodcock twice now on site and a partridge.
We are looking forward to the late Autumn and Winter when we will start again planting trees, but for now we are working on the wildlife pond with young people from the local community.
We have 5.5 acres of bramble to clear so that we can plant 160 trees and over 300 saplings, whilst creating natural habitats and increasing biodiversity of the site.
We are starting a bird watching group on Fridays, so if you fancy visiting us don't forget to bring your camera and contact us. The site is locked.
