We are currently offering primary aged children two forest school session a week.
We offer regular 3 hour sessions for Home Educated during term time with a Level 3 Forest School Lead. Some of the activities and their link to the National Curriculum can be found on our forest school sessions page. if you are interested please contact us for further details
We can offer support with home educated by helping to provide evidence for the Royal Horticultural Society School Gardening Awards, you can work with your child in our forest school and you will need to register with the RHS at the below link as an individual for your child:
The below link shows you what is expected at each stage of the awards it is free to register. Each successfully completed level is awarded with a certificate and brilliant reward worth up to £200!
We can also help if your child has been excluded and you are prepared to come onsite and support them, working with them 1:1 on a project - watering, weeding, digging, planting, photographing wildlife and being part of a team. We are happy to work with you so that you and your child can achieve and are not alone.
Any photographic evidence collected will need to be done so by either by the parent or the child due to safeguarding, but we can provide a written witness testimony as necessary as well as giving feedback to schools or awarding bodies.
